News from the Cathedral
Several people from the Cathedral congregation did a prayer walk lasting an hour and a half around the city on Sunday 20th Jan. For Easter they also collected donations of 45 chocolate 'Eggs of Hope', that were sent to the Family Care organisation in Peterborough. At Pentecost, the group held a 'Cakes of Hope' stall, that raised £124 for the Peterborough Soup Kitchen. Their current project is a 'Tea Party of Hope' with some light entertainment, that is being planned for Saturday September 6th at Stephenson Court Almshouse, where the team will be adding to the 'Million Hours of Kindness' serving.
“We are only a small group at the Cathedral, but hope that our efforts bear fruit.”Aug 09
